Recognition of dental patients in the capital area with regard to the private dental insurance

Abstract

|
This study surveyed the recognition and insured rate of people who usually visit a dental clinic. The survey consulted over 540 people aged over 20 years old, through a self-administered questionnaire in 10 dentist's offices which consented to join the activity in Seoul City and Kyung-gi Province. The survey analyzed demographic, social and medical features. It used multinomial logit analysis to analyze the reasons that influence recognition of private dental insurance, and logit analysis to analyze the points which influence buying a private dental insurance plan, and the willingness of people who have not yet purchased private dental insurance to purchase a plan.
